Manufacturers' Viewing - Event Policy

I recognise that my attendance at Euro NCAP manufacturers’ viewing is subject to the following conditions:

 (Please read carefully)

1.       I understand I have access to the crash test vehicles on day 1 from 16:00 till 19:00 and day 2 from 8:00am till 10:00.  During that period, I shall be authorized to take photographs and examine any vehicle on display.  However I acknowledge that I am not allowed then to open any impacted doors or any door with a label ‘Do not open’, nor remove or dismantle any part (including child restraints) of any car.

2.       Following the official welcome by Euro NCAP’s Secretary General (which will be held around 10:00am on day 2), I shall be entitled to inspect the vehicles more closely, provided the below rules are followed:

a.      Parts removed or dismantled must remain in or near the car for examination by others at any time.

b.      No large structural parts such as wheels, door units,... can be removed.

c.       Components that pose additional risk such as airbag generators, batteries etc. cannot be dismantled.

d.      Only use of proper, handheld tools is permitted.  These do not include pneumatic scissors, drills, metal cutting saw, etc.

e.      No metal cutting, no sharp edges are allowed.

3.       I understand all pictures and/or videos taken by me during both days are for professional purposes only.  Publishing media material from the viewing in the public domain is strictly forbidden.

4.       I shall not leave the premises with any part that belongs to the test vehicles, including child restraints.

5.       I shall show the contents of bags, boxes, suitcases or anything that could hold objects, whenever asked to do so by Euro NCAP, and in particular when leaving the hall.

6.       I shall act responsibly and in respect of the safety of others.  If my behaviour is found inappropriate, I may be asked to leave the venue immediately.

I acknowledge that if these restrictions are breached by me, I may be barred from any future Euro NCAP event.  In addition, such non-fulfilment will be notified to my company.
